You don't know what you don't know...
Truthfully, before I went all in on my agency, I thought I knew it all...
It wasn't until I started meeting with other agency owners and started hearing about some of the tools they were using that I realized that there wasn't a -"One size fits all approach to PPC"
In fact, I found out that there were 10s of tools that a lot of people were using - that I - "self proclaimed expert" - didn't even know about 😬
That's a little awkward...
But I persevered and am proud to say that with hours and hours of calls and research - I have compiled a pretty great optimization process that works for B2B Tech companies
My Optimization Process
My Optimization Process highlights things that most internal PPC pros don't care enough about... (in my "professional" opinion)
Competitive Research
I use a software to scrape Google in real time (I don't rely on Semrush or Ahrefs to give me their fragmented and limited data)
AI for Data Analysis
I use AI to do some complex, and fast data analysis on PPC accounts - to identify some super fast optimizations that saves $100s
Performance Planner
I actually use the Performance Planner & use my client's first party data to set some benchmarks 6-12 months in the future
AB Test Visualization
I visualize and store AB test performance in an easy to view dashboard that my clients always have access to
CRM Sync
I always ensure there is a sync in place for the CRM - before I went full time agency guy, I had to rely on the Hubspot Professional plan to make the sync - but since spending hours of time optimizing workflows, I found a no code solution for this using Zapier
So this is my process...
And it works a lot of the time. It's definitely not infallible - but I love it.
